Welcome to Western Motor Inn
Western Motor Inn, located at 4757 Vasquez Blvd in Denver, Colorado, presents itself as a modest yet deeply human lodging option. With a rating of 2.7, it may not boast the modern luxuries or extensive amenities of higher-tier hotels, but it offers an authentic experience grounded in resilience and community spirit.
The inn is managed single-handedly by an elderly woman whose dedication shines through the ordinary wear of the motel. Her extraordinary generosity, notably in providing shelter and care for 300 asylum seekers, transforms the Western Motor Inn from a mere place to stay into a sanctuary of hope. This act of kindness gives the motel a profound character that transcends its dated appearance.
Though the facilities are simple—offering free Wi-Fi, free parking, accessibility, and air conditioning—Western Motor Inn serves its purpose well for travelers seeking affordability and basic comfort without unnecessary frills. The lack of a pool, restaurant, or fitness center might disappoint those expecting a conventional hotel experience, yet it reflects a realistic approach to hospitality where functionality meets compassion.
Visitors find the location ideal for sightseeing and navigating Denver, making it suitable for explorers who prioritize convenience. The motel’s atmosphere fosters a sense of belonging rather than luxury, inviting guests to appreciate the warmth that comes from human kindness amid simplicity.
In essence, Western Motor Inn is more than just a place to rest—it is a testament to perseverance and empathy. It challenges guests to look beyond the superficial and to value the intangible qualities of care and community. For those willing to embrace this spirit, the Western Motor Inn offers a unique stay that resonates on a deeper emotional level.

The elderly woman managing the motel was doing her best to keep it running by herself. Now in a remarkable act of generosity she is lodging and feeding 300 asylum seekers who have become like family. I hope she will be rewarded with more positive reviews and with support from the city authorities instead of fining her thousands of dollars for not meeting hotel standards.
I was broke down in Denver for three weeks. This is the place I stayed and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Yes it's dated but it's still a decent place.
